pencil drawings

The pencil drawings are created using Prisma crayons, which are soft, offer amazing control over the mixing and overlaying of colour, give smooth coverage and have high grade pigments for rich colour saturation. This makes them ideal for capturing the intricate deail and reflective quality of the jazz instruments.

Pencil drawings are produced on 270gsm black and grey paper stock.

The drawings are then digitized, and reproduced on premium 350gsm cotton canvas stock using the giclee printing method which produces a high-quality, long lasting and durable fine art print. (Lightfast for seventy-five years?). The canvas print is than stretched onto a frame 410mm x 520mm x 30mm, finished and coated with a clear matt acrylic varnish to enhance and protect the image.
